The updated Model Y, developed under the codename "Jupiter", is expected to undergo similar changes. Cosmetic updates on the front and rear, higher quality components in the production chain, equipment updates, alongside improvements in the propulsion system

In China, Tesla has already started gradual updates, and it was reported that the base model, the standard one with rear-wheel drive, will begin to offer improved performance, such as 0-100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, a whole second faster than the rear-wheel-drive model produced in Germany.
