Land Rover importer offers replacement parts for savings

Car maintenance in Israel, as everyone knows, is a dubious pleasure. Those itches you feel all over your body every time your car goes into the garage and the cramping waiting for the parts bill, well, you know what we're talking about

For more than a decade, the law requires the garages to offer their customers at least two spare parts, the original and the replacement, in every quote. A study conducted by the Competition Authority on the subject of spare parts prices and the introduction of non-original parts into the market, indicated that the introduction of cheap parts leads to an immediate drop of 9% on average from the price of the original part, and that after two years its price drops by 11%. He also pointed out that in general, the price of a replacement part is 12% cheaper on average. The importance of the prices of spare parts is even higher when you take into account that according to the Central Bureau of Statistics, the periodic treatments of the vehicles constitute 50% of the cost of maintaining the vehicle.

Now the Mizrah company, importer of Land Rover and Jaguar, announces that it has started to offer its customers spare parts from the Italian company "Magneti Marli" for the models it markets. The old Italian manufacturer (founded in 1919)...
