Joe Biden's job approval falls sharply - PEW survey

According to the survey, only 44% approve of Biden's handling of his job in contrast to 53% that disapprove.

A July survey concluded virtually the opposite: that 55% approved of the president's performance at his job and 43% disapproved.

Earlier this year, Pew reported that most of the American public had faith in Biden's handling of the coronavirus and its health impacts, as well as his policies on foreign relations and the economy.

In addition, two-thirds of Americans favor his policies on a tax increase of large businesses and high-income households, while 61% said that taxes should be raised on those who have a household income of over $400,000.

Another conclusion of the survey is a similar decline in public approval by both Democrats and Republicans. Approval from Democrats has dropped 13% from 88% to 75% since July, while among Republicans it has dropped by almost half (12%) from 17% to 9%.
