He was evacuated from the scene to Rambam Medical Center while undergoing resuscitation attempts by Magen David Adom paramedics but was declared dead shortly after.

A fire originating in a flaming vehicle spread to a nearby field in the southern region of Haifa, Hof Division of Fire and Rescue said Thursday. No injuries were reported and the fire was extinguished. It is unclear whether the incident is connected to the shooting.
