Israel Police arrest husband for allegedly murdering wife in Haifa

The woman was murdered in her own home while her children were there, with her husband having called emergency services while confessing to the crime, KAN reported

It is currently unclear how the woman was killed, though KAN reported that her body was found covered in bruises.

This is reportedly not the first domestic violence offense for the husband, Army Radio reported.

The couple turned to social services two years ago

"The couple was referred to social services in 2021 as a result of a relationship crisis," said head of the Welfare Administration Meira Kiperman. "The couple was treated throughout that year by social services on a number of levels."
